Sebastian Herkner joins the line-up of B.lux designers with a collection that will be presented at Light + Building

The Light + Building 2018 trade fair is the setting chosen by the lamp manufacturer B.lux to introduce to the public its collaboration with designer Sebastian Herkner. At the event, B.lux will present its new collection of lamps for 2018 at its stand, which will include the Brim lamps, the product of the first collaboration with renowned German designer Sebastian Herkner.

Some of the company’s other usual designers will also showcase their new lamps at the B.lux stand. Stone Designs will present the C_Ball and Misko collections, while Werner Aisslinger will display new versions of the Aspen collection. Additional new designer lighting creations that will be presented at the B.lux stand include Light Hole, Tableau and White House, all of them designed by David Abad.

It is this same Catalan designer, David Abad, who is responsible for designing the 160m2 B.lux stand. The space, built around two large volumes, draws its inspiration from Japanese trellises, and features a meshed wood façade and large picture windows. The prevailing materials and colours in the stand are warm and natural, like wood and stone and bronze tones.

The Light + Building 2018 trade fair will be held in the German city of Frankfurt from 18 to 23 March. The B.lux stand is number F11 and will be located in pavilion 1.2. B.lux, located in the Basque Country, has been manufacturing contemporary lamps since 1980.
