Gemma Bernal worked alongside fellow industrial designer Ramón Isern between 1968 and 1998, when she teamed up with David Ramos and Jordi Bassols, before going solo in 2004 and setting up her own studio. During this latest stage of her career she has been working most intensely with the B.Lux Group, designing the Basquet lamps and the Nina & Nino collection.



Since she began her career in industrial design in the 1960s - winning an ADI-FAD Gold Delta Award in 1969 - Gemma Bernal has collaborated with leading manufacturers such as Enea, Monix, Roca Radiadores, Sellex and Henkel.
